Equipment Required
Injection Kit (Sverker).
Measurement Device (Multi-meter).
Connection Cables (Banana Type).

Pick Up & Drop Off Test
Connection will be same as the shown figure.
Increase voltage until the relay picks up. Note down the pick up value for voltage & current.
Decrease voltage until the relay drops off. Note down the drop off value for voltage & current.

Pick Up & Drop Off Timing Test
For timing test we will use one pole of MCB series with Ammeter to cut dc supply off.
Use the other pole of MCB for starting sverker timer.
Use any contact from the aux. relay to stop sverker timer.
Inject 125V directly to the relay coil. Note down the pick up time.
Repeat previous step several times with different time delay.
Energize the relay with 125V then switch the supply off. Note down the drop off time.

Burden Test
Adjust the timer with high time delay for example: 2 minutes.
Energize the relay with 125V and measure the dc current.
Note down the current
before
timer operates.
After 2 minutes relay will pick up. Note down the current
after
operation.
Calculate the relay power (W) = 125v x measured current
